- From November 15 to February 27: Monday to Sunday from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.
- From February 28 to June 16 and from September 5 to November 14: Monday to Sunday from 10.00 to 20.00 h.
- From June 17 to September 4: Monday to Sunday from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Last elevator up: 40 minutes before the closing time of the elevators.
Last elevator down: 20 minutes before the closing time of the elevators.
Price of the elevators:
- General, €2.70.
- Free for retired pensioners who can prove this condition with a document.

*Access to the site is only allowed up to 30 minutes before closing time.
Price: 1,45€ each way.

Frequency:
- Every 40 minutes. The service can be reinforced in case of large influx of visitors from cruise ships, or in case of celebration of major events.

Access through the Ereta Park
This itinerary begins with a walk through the streets of the historic center and, once you reach the Ereta Park, offers a spectacular view of the city, the surrounding towns and the Mediterranean Sea.

Access via Mount Benacantil
In this case, we propose the ascent to the fortress enjoying the views of the Postiguet Beach from the Virgen del Socorro street, to enter the route through the path on the west side of Mount Benacantil and that allows views of the north of Alicante and the Alicante mountain.

Vehicle access only in the following cases:
- Parking is not allowed in the fortress.
- Loading and unloading of passengers for the time strictly necessary: cabs, VTC, people with reduced mobility, minibuses (length 8,50m and mass 6.800kg).
- Visitors must follow the indications of the municipal staff at all times.
- Coaches authorized to access the Castle must have a maximum length of 8.50 m and a maximum mass of 6,800 kg. Drivers must follow the instructions and guidelines of the local police officers at all times.
- This authorization is limited to the mere loading/unloading of passengers. Once the bus has been unloaded, it must leave the Castle and return later for pick-up.
